In partnership with the Huronia Museum, Wye Marsh, Midland Public Library, Midland Cultural Centre, National Film Board of Canada and the Ontario Arts Council, From Food to Monument is an extensive fall program that aims to bring further awareness to the ancestral territory of the Wendat and Ojibway people and how settlement impacted the social, political and psychological landscape of the region.

A collaborative project involving both Indigenous and non-Indigenous members of the community, this program consists of four exhibitions and a series of educational programs that work to interrupt colonial and settler histories to bring forward narratives and knowledge of our First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities.
